We consider it essential that both parties are satisfied with the terms of our cooperation. We understand that for the client the fee for legal services must be meaningful in relation to the desired outcomes, while for us, the primary consideration is the time investment. We always strive to find an appropriate compromise.

Our base fee policy is a blended hourly rate of CZK 2,600 plus VAT (i.e., CZK 3,146 including VAT). We bill our clients a portion of the fee (CZK 650 plus VAT) per each commenced quarter-hour. This ensures that the final price reflects the actual amount of work. With us, you will not find yourself paying a full hourly fee for just answering a simple phone call.

Please note that our fee does not include additional costs related to the legal services rendered, such as court, administrative or notarial fees, postage, translator or expert fees, and other costs reasonably incurred in the client’s interest. According to the law, such expenses are borne by the client. However, we consult our clients in advance before incurring any substantial costs.

In most cases, our approach is significantly more advantageous for the client than the statutory fee regime (Decree of the Ministry of Justice No. 177/1996 Coll.), which an attorney is entitled to request from the client unless agreed otherwise.

In case of a dispute, we always strive to achieve maximum reimbursement of legal service costs from the opposing party, either based on a decision of the court, or an out-of-court settlement. In certain cases, the reimbursement may even exceed the amount of the fees actually paid by the client. In such cases, the reimbursement belongs to the client up to the amount of the fees paid by the client, and any excessive amount belongs to us as a part of our remuneration.

Alternative Fee Arrangements

Fixní odměna, limit (cap) – Pokud je možné časový rozsah služeb dobře odhadnout, jsme schopni Vám nabídnout právní služby za fixní částku, případně omezit celkovou odměnu cenovým limitem.

Paušál – Jestliže máte zájem poptávat právní služby pravidelně a máte alespoň přibližnou představu o rozsahu takových služeb, je možné Vám vyjít vstříc formou tzv. paušálu. Jedná se o pravidelnou platbu, která zahrnuje určitý počet hodin služeb za cenu podstatně nižší, než běžná hodinová sazba.

Statutory Fee – It is also possible to agree on remuneration for individual legal acts based on the Attorney's Tariff (Decree of the Ministry of Justice No. 177/1996 Coll.).

Success Fee - In exceptional cases, it is also possible to agree on remuneration expressed as a share of the success in the matter.
